Noodle Magic

Grandpa Tu loved to make noodles. He made magic noodles! He would slap, knead, and stretch the dough all night, and in the morning, he had magic noodles that could do all kinds of things. He could make flowers, cats, birds, jump ropes, and kite strings out of the noodles! The emperor’s birthday was coming up and everyone was getting ready–everyone except Grandpa Tu. He told his granddaughter, Mei, that this year it was her turn to make the magic noodles for the emperor’s birthday. Mei was terrified because she thought she did not know to make magic noodles. Her grandfather told her that she had the magic within herself. Even though her grandpa told her where the magic was, she decided to ask the Moon Goddess for help. The Moon Goddess told her the same thing as her grandpa. Read the book to find out if Mei could find the magic!

I liked the book because Mei believes in herself and finds the courage to try!! I would recommend the book to my sister and friends.
