Isley loves waking up to the sounds of the ocean. She loves the animals that live in it and the birds that fly around it. But when a whale washes up on the seashore, Isley learns that it died from plastic fillings in its stomach. Isley is determined to stop this from happening again. She helps her neighbors and family to stop garbage from making its way to the ocean, but people start to go back to their old ways. Can Isley convince them to stop throwing away plastic?

I really like that this book is about helping animals and stopping pollution. I hope this helps people to make better choices, but sometimes I feel like you don’t get to know the main character well. The illustrations in this fun picture book were made from plastic waste, and I found that amazing. I recommend this book. I read it multiple times and noticed new things in the illustrations each time!
