Nancy is an elephant. She knows she has forgotten something important that is going to happen. She thinks about things to try to remember, but all she thinks about are other things. She thinks about things that are green, and things that have wheels, and things that she can sleep on. The things that she thinks about are inside her. She thinks of pretty clothes and wedding dresses, and toys and things at the park. Some things are in a great big mess – I don’t think that would help! She remembers things she smells or hears or that are in her body. She can’t remember what she needs to until she stops thinking of things – and then she finally remembers! I like to look at all the little pictures of things Nancy is thinking about. Some of them are little toys or things that are real things, but some are made up things. They are interesting and fun. Nancy is sometimes a little elephant and sometimes she is so big! She is full of things when she is so big. This is a fun book to look at.
