Mrs. Claus and the Halloween Homicide (Mrs. Claus Mysteries)
This book was great. It was fun to read and I genuinely enjoyed it. It was an amazing twist on the usually kid-friendly version of Mrs. Claus and Santa. My only minor issue was that it was hard to truly figure out what rating this book would suit best. Santa and Mrs. Claus are usually kid-friendly, so at first, I was thinking I could read this to my three-year-old sister. Then, as the book went on, I realized that it was best for a tween/teen audience due to the words “sex appeal” and a few curse words.
I like this idea for a book, and the words really help create a picture in your mind. (I can see the drunk reindeer!) I loved how the characters weren’t perfect, and the design of their personalities was believable as well. This book would make a great movie! In conclusion, this book deserved the five-star rating I gave it for being an amazing story.
