Mr. Putter & Tabby Turn the Page
Everyone likes to read to someone, for Mr. Putter, his someone is his cat, Tabby. In Mr. Putter and Tabby Turn the Page, a sign goes up at the library asking for volunteers to read at storytime. Mr. Putter thinks this is a great idea, especially since storytime’s theme is reading with your pet. Mr. Putter and Tabby would love to read to the children at the library. But Mr. Putter tells Mrs. Teaberry about storytime. Mrs. Teaberry thinks this is a grand idea, but Mr. Putter worries he has made a mistake. Mrs. Teaberry’s dog, Zeke, is anything but quiet and calm. Will storytime be ruined?
This is the first Mr. Putter and Tabby book that I have read and I really enjoyed it. As a new reader, I was able to read the book myself with a little help from my mom. It is divided into 5 chapters, which made it easier to tackle. It was funny when Zeke comes out wearing someone’s hat and a sandwich in his mouth. I can’t wait to read more Mr. Putter and Tabby books.
