Mr. Postmouse Takes a Trip

Mr. Postmouse Takes a Trip is about a mouse who is a mailman and his family, who take a vacation. Mr. Postmouse still makes some special deliveries to different animals while he is on holiday. The illustrations are drawn so that you can see inside animals’ homes, ice cream trucks, cruise ships, stores, and under water. The home I liked best was a volcano on a tropical island. The volcano was home to a dragon, and the smoke coming out of the top of the volcano was just coming from the dragon. There were so many details put into the illustrations on each page. I spent so much time looking at the pictures, and I keep picking up the book over and over just to look at the illustrations again. I was very excited when I got to review this book because I read the first book, Mr. Postmouse’s Rounds, and I loved it. I was excited to see that Mr. Postmouse Takes a Trip was illustrated in the same way. I hope there is a third Mr. Postmouse book in the future.
