Mousenapped

Jamie is a house mouse, and he has lived with his human, Nellie, for a while. One day, he meets a grasshopper mouse named Roland. Soon, Nellie goes outside during the night and brings in a young girl, who is called Sara. Sara is a special girl, who can see things other people cannot. In the morning, Sara mousenaps Jamie, and Roland and Nellie are wondering where Jamie is. Nellie builds a box for Jamie and Roland to escape from Sara’s house. Nellie takes Sara’s backpack over to her house to return it. Roland is taken into Sara’s room and finds that Jamie has been trapped in a mousetrap. Roland has to try to save Jamie from the mousetrap. Will Roland and Jamie make it back to Nellie’s house? Will their lives continue as they were before Sara came? Read Mousenapped! to find out!

I like this story because it was told from different points of view, and I liked how it fit together and how this book is saying life isn’t always perfect, and sometimes you don’t understand everything. I think my favorite character is probably Jamie and Roland. I like their friendship, even though Roland is a carnivorous mouse.
