This is a fun rhyming book about Monster and his need for a Christmas tree. During the holidays there is so much fun things to do like sledding, snowball fights, etc. Monster waits too long and all the Christmas trees are gone. Monster gets very creative with his ideas for a Christmas tree. This book gave me the idea to go outside and find twigs, leaves, sticks, etc and make a Christmas tree myself. I used pine combs and string with popcorn as the tree decorations. It was a lot of fun just like this book. My favorite part is when the Monster is having so much fun enjoying all the wintertime activities. I love being outside in the winter time. I thought the pictures in this story were great and I have enjoyed the other Monster books as well. I even brought this book to school for all my classmates to enjoy too. The author Paul Czajak has really come up with a good idea with the Monster and Me series. I can’t wait for his next Monster and Me book.
