Monster and Mouse Go Camping
Monster and Mouse Go Camping by Deborah Underwood is a fiction story about a monster and a mouse who are best friends. Mouse wants Monster to go camping. Monster is scared of camping and doesn’t want to go. Monster is hungry and wants food, so he says he’ll go camping. They pack everything for their trip, except for the food. Mouse forgot the food. It was hilarious when Monster ate everything that Mouse packed. Monster ate everything from the sleeping bag to the lantern to the tent. Monster and Mouse had to sleep on the grass because they had no tent or sleeping bag. The story and the plot were awesome! The illustrations by Jared Chapman were pretty cute. I liked how the illustrations were 3D.
