Mira’s Diary: Bombs Over London
Mira has just followed her mom to London in 1917, to try to do what she can to change her future. Once she has to go underground to be safe when bombs were coming. She also meets some ladies who were rallying to have the right to vote. She almost gets put in prison because she was in the crowd with the women, but escapes and finds her way back to the present. She realizes she has to go back to find her mom and get her to come back and leave time traveling alone.
There was a lot of time traveling and suspense in this book. The first several chapters were very boring, but it got more exciting as it got toward the end of the book. It was very fun and it was worth reading through all the first chapters. This book was entertaining and I liked how Mira tried to solve everything on her own. Once she almost got in trouble, but then she found a way out of it. Mira is independent and clever and I think there will be another book in this series; it will be fun to see what Mira does next!
