Middle Bear
I like Middle Bear by Susanna Isern and Manon Gauthier because I am a middle child, too. Sometimes it feels sad to be in the middle because you are too little for some things and too big for some things. My favorite picture is when they rescue the baby brother from the icy water and when middle bear has to be brave enough to go alone to get the willow tree bark because he is the only one who can help his mom and dad. The pictures are cut out of paper, and I like that, too. The story teaches me that it is okay to be in the middle. Everyone is important, no matter what.
