Memoirs of a Sidekick
Boris Snodbuckle and his sidekick Adrian get into lots of trouble at school when they play pranks, fight with bullies, and more. I enjoyed this book very much. I read it in one sitting simply because I couldn’t put it down. The plot was entertaining because it was packed with action and excitement. I think it’s funny how Boris and Adrian carry out several plans, such as “Operation S.O.S.,” “Operation Swing Back,” “Operation Rally in the Valley,” and “Operation Broadway,” but none of them turn out exactly the way the boys want them to. The dialogue was modern, not stiff and formal, which made it seem like Boris and Adrian themselves were actually talking. At one point, Boris talks in Pig Latin! This book was written in the first person by Adrian. I think that people of all ages and interests could read this book. It would make a great series. Other books could be written about Boris and Adrian’s adventures, and I would absolutely want to read more. I definitely recommend this book, and you should read it, too.
