Megabat
Daniel just moved to a new house. He really didn’t want to move but he had to. At his new house, he heard a weird noise which he learned was a fruit bat. The fruit bat loved to drink apple juice and eat watermelon. The bat shouldn’t be in the house but he had gotten lost from his family. Daniel and his new friend Talia decided to try to help the bat get home. They tried many different ways to get him home but they weren’t able to. Daniel was sad for the bat but he decided to keep the bat with him at his house. Will Daniel be able to keep the bat a secret from his parents?
This story was exciting to read. It is a really good story about friendship. Daniel had to make a new friend when he moved into his new house so he made friends with Talia from next door. Megabat was lost from his family but was able to make friends with Birdgirl. It shows that even in new and scary situations you can find a friend.
