Max the Brave
This story is about a brave kitten names Max, who is not afraid of anything. He is so brave he likes to chase mice. He is cute, but he doesn’t like to be called cute. He has a hard time finding mouse and gets into some trouble when he does finally find who he thinks is mouse. The pages of the book are solid bright colors of yellow, orange, green, blue, and pink. The illustrations are small on some pages, but very detailed and also leave much to the imagination. There is a monster in the story which makes things super interesting, but the monster did not scare me. The monster did not scare Max either because I am not sure he even knew it was a monster. This story is funny and creative. I am sure all kids would like this story, and I will tell my friends to read it too. My favorite part is when Max is checking out the mouse’s teeth. He didn’t realize the mouse had such BIG teeth. You have to read it to find out!
