Max is a little boy who is a baby – I am older than him. He is behind the curtain and peeks out. He is like a magician. He wants to do special tricks before he goes to bed. Here is his friend lion and his pet alligator. His first trick is trying to feed a cookie to his lion, and he tells his dog to sit and fetch, but the dog just gives him a big slurpy kiss! Then his mom says it’s bedtime. And his mom is being so rude! She’s pulling on him into his bedroom. He pulls the bunny out of his bed, he pulls the bear out from his closet, and the raccoon from the toybox. Then he has to brush his teeth. It is funny that he had to ‘attempt to put them on’ — his pajamas. I can try that! His mom will only read two books, but Max wanted her to read all of them. I like looking at the pictures and it is funny to think about what Max tries to do. I could do all the things Max tries to do.
