Lyric McKerrigan, Secret Librarian

The picture book Lyric McKerrigan, Secret Librarian by Jacob Sager Weinstein is about Lyric McKerrigan, secret librarian. She’s saving the world because she likes books so much. Lyric saw that the other super heroes were trapped, so she freed them, and they started to fight with Dr. Glockenspiel and his bad guys. The bad guys reveal the moths, and Dr. Glockenspiel wanted them to destroy all the books, but instead, Lyric saved all the books by having story time and a flashlight. Then Dr. Glockenspiel ran, but because he had wool clothes, the moths got his wool clothes off, and Dr. Glockenspiel was in jail. Then Lyric McKerrigan flew off with the moths. I liked the story because the bad guy looked funny. I liked the illustrations because they looked good the way the illustrator made the characters.
