Luis and Tabitha

Luis and Tabitha by Stephanie Campisi is about two kitties named Luis and Tabitha. Luis is a street kitty, and Tabitha is a fancy cat. They fell in love with each other, but Tabitha’s owner shooed Luis away. He didn’t give up on her. He visited her everyday. Then Luis pretended to be lost so he could see Tabitha, but it didn’t work. Luis was in an apartment far away from Tabitha. He saw Tabitha winning first prize because she’s so fancy, but she was in danger, and she didn’t notice the fire. Luis saved Tabitha and her owner from the fire. The owner noticed how Luis and Tabitha were in love and didn’t separate them anymore. I liked how Luis gave Tabitha roses, balloons, and gifts to show her his love. I really liked the story and the happy ending.
