Lucy and Company
Lucy is a little girl who has lots of adventures with her friends. There are three stories in this book: “The Snack,” “The Treasure,” and “The Hatchlings.” It’s fun, and I think that this book is interesting and the pictures are really cute. In the first story, Lucy has a snack with her friends, who are a mouse, a rabbit, and a turtle, and they meet a snail named Adrian. In the next story, they look for a treasure. I like the story “The Hatchlings” especially. In that story, they find three eggs. They ask if they are Adrian’s eggs, but he says they are too big for a snail! Then the eggs hatch into three baby chicks. They look for a nice cozy place for them, and then they find Mr. Bear, who is grumbly! But the chicks call him “Papa!” and he is so surprised that he stops grumbling. The pictures are so nice because they show all the friends having such a nice time together in the woods, and they are so happy, and you like seeing them smile all the time. Lucy has a lot of fun adventures, and you will like sharing them with her!
