Lucky Strike

Lucky Strike is an amazing story. The story focuses on the two main characters: Nate and Gen. Each of these characters do have special qualities though neither is popular at all. Gen is the smartest girl in Franklin County, or even all of Florida, and Nate is just plain unlucky. But for Nate, everything was about to change. On Nate’s eleventh birthday on the eleventh of April when there was not one cloud in the sky (well there might have been a few, but those were way over above the Gulf of Mexico) something peculiar happened—Nate was struck by lightning. All he had in his hand was his metal miniature golf club, but what was extremely peculiar was, like I said before, there was not a cloud in the sky. When the lighting hit him, he was knocked far off his feet and onto the hard ground of the miniature golf course. Then his life was changed forever. I really like this book because it shows the quality of true friendship. I highly recommend anyone over the age of ten read this.
