Love Me
Gabby Preston has been taking drugs while she has been waiting for her Big Break. With musician Eddie Sharp she finally seems to have found what she was looking for, but as she gets deeper and deeper into her drug addiction everything she has worked for may be lost.
Amanda Faraday was sure that, with her gorgeous looks, she could leave behind her unsavory past and be with the man she loves, Harry Gordon. But after he discovered her secret Amanda finds her dreams smashed. Amanda must find a way to get Harry back.
Margo Sterling should feel like the luckiest woman alive, now that she has the hottest star in Hollywood to herself. But if the tabloids ever found out that she was living with him they’d both lose their careers.
I felt like this book was too much talking about drugs and sex and affairs and other muckety things; it really lost the chance to be a window into the early nineteen hundreds Hollywood, or even to give a chance for the characters to develop. It seemed like the characters were just used as props to stuff in more unnecessary grit. I think of the two books so far, the first was much superior.
