Lottery Boy
Bully lives on the streets. He doesn’t have to, but he doesn’t agree with his stepdad, and he fends for himself in modern day London. However, just before his mom died, she gave him a lottery card that turns out to be the big winner. But, when he spills the beans to some other street people, trouble comes, and next thing Bully knows, he is being pursued by Janks, a criminal who usually steals and breeds dogs illegally. Janks gets bounty hunters to go after Bully and everywhere he turns, there are people trying to get the lottery ticket. With only five days left to redeem it, Bully has to make it to Camelot, London, or lose all of the prize money.
I liked that this book had a protagonist that could think on the fly. I liked that it had a good plot that makes you want to read more. However I disliked that there are cuss words. In this book, also, the characters don’t have good standards, which is something I like to have in a book. I think that this book is good, but it could be better.
