Lost in the Mouseum: Left / Right (Mouse Math)
This book is about a little mouse lost in a museum. In mice language, it’s called “mouseum.” That was the funniest part of the whole story. The map of the entire mouseum is at the end of the book. The maximum number of sentences in each page is four. Children younger than five years can enjoy this book because it has easy words to read and practices directions. It was fun to read about the two mice going down the Digestive System Slide. I would like to try a slide like that one. I was a little scared to see the picture of the “giant, scary” cat mask. The detailed pictures make me feel like I am inside the book. At the end of the book, there are games to practice directions that children can play with their parents. I liked the maze games that the author suggested. Even bigger kids like me will like these games.
