After his dad, Alfie, falls off a roof and dies, March finally meets his twin sister, Julia, who he hadn’t known existed. They are caught by the police and taken to a home for children without parents. They decide they want to make a gang which will go around hunting magical moonstones. Alfie had left a list of where they were going to find the moonstones. While they are out hunting, the children find out there is a prophecy that says, “The two born together shall die together.” This makes them very scared, and one of the twins’ uncles gives them advice of how to reverse the prophecy. They are being chased by the police, and don’t know when they will be able to reverse the prophecy, but soon they find themselves in a big mess and a lot of trouble. Will March and Julia be able to break the curse, or will they have to do as the curse prophesied?

I thought this book was fun because I liked reading about their struggles and how it was very hard but it did all work out in the end. It was interesting that this was a family of thieves, but they loved each other.
