In Little Red Rolls Away, Little Red Barn is a cute, red barn that lives out in the country on a farm. When he wakes up in the morning, he listens for all of the usual sounds from his friends, like Rooster’s crow, Piglet’s squeal, and Bossy Cow’s moo. But he does not hear any of those sounds. What is going on?! Instead of seeing his friends, Little Red Barn sees big metal machines! How scary! Are they going to hurt Little Red Barn?

The machines put Little Red Barn on a truck. He travels through towns, over a river, through a big city, then back through new woods he has not seen before. Poor Little Red Barn is in the rain and all alone.

When will Little Red Barn reach his new home? Will his friends be there? This is a scary move for Little Red Barn!
I liked this book because of the exciting traveling adventures and because the animals are cute. The pictures do a good job of showing how Little Red Barn is feeling during his journey!
