Little Lion Rescue (Little Animal Rescue)

Little Lion Rescue is a not very good “animal rescue” book. It tells the story of a young girl who is magically transported to Africa and helps a young lion in need. Even though it has a good plot, there are many others in this genre, and this one is not well written. Its descriptions of life on the African plains are fairly good, but the words don’t connect well. If you do want to read it, I think that kids in kindergarten to second grade would enjoy it. And, if you like the Magic Tree House series it might be enjoyable. I think that if you like adventure stories you might like it as it is basically an adventure with an animal rescue twist. If you like “animal rescue” books, then you may also like this one. I think that libraries might want a copy, but it is the sort of book you probably will read only once. This is a book that is for young kids who want a little lion of their own!
