Little Fox, Lost
Little Fox came out of his den with his mother for a walk in the snowy forest. Mama Fox stopped to talk to Mrs Grey Fox, while Little Fox kept playing and running around. Soon Little Fox realized that he was lost and had left too many footprints to find his way home. Little Fox began to cry until Old Owl found him. Little Fox said he wasn’t allowed to talk to strangers and that Mama Fox had always told him that if he was ever lost, to stay in one place and Mama would find him. Little Fox, Owl, and many other forest creatures keep repeating a rhyme to remind them to stay put while Mama Fox finds them.
Little Fox, Lost was a great book, especially good for little kids. I really liked the illustrations; they are soft and gentle, which makes me think this is a good bedtime story. Little Fox, Lost teaches a really good lesson: when you get lost from your mommy, stay in place, and she will come find you. I would recommend this book to toddlers and pre-schoolers.
