When Little Critter’s mom can’t find a bunch of his socks, she sends him to look for them. He does to all of his friends’ houses. He doesn’t find his lost socks, but he finds lots and lots of lost toys. He finds his bugle in gator’s garden, his bomber jacket and cowboy hat in Tiger’s clubhouse and his giant stuffed gorilla at Timothy’s house. He also notices that a little raccoon is playing with his basketball, but when he tries to take his ball home the little kid cries so he lets him borrow the ball. Finally, he finds his Red Racer wagon, which is lucky because now he can carry all of his treasure home. Little Critter’s mom finally finds his socks, and Little Critter is happy because he found so much of his treasure.

This book was good, but not as funny or interesting as many of the other Little Critter books. I’ll read it again, but not as often as Just Me and My Dad or Just a Little Music. I thought those were funnier.
