Listen Up, Louella

LouElla is going to Roar camp and what a great time she will have there. She has everything planned out for what to do, but LouElla is so excited that she also wants to do what everyone else is doing and she forgets to wait her turn. LouElla doesn’t even seem to hear her friends when they talk to her. Suddenly, LouElla is alone and everyone has gone to a party and she didn’t even get an invite, or did she? LouElla was so busy that she didn’t get her invite to the party.

This book has a valuable lesson about slowing down, listening, and waiting your turn. It is a very good book with a positive message. The illustrations of all the animals and their activities are very detailed. I highly recommend this for young readers or anyone who has trouble waiting their turn and listening.
