Lily Leads the Way

Kids who like boats will want to add Lily Leads the Way to their book collection. It’s a little bit like the classic Toot and Pop! in terms of what the story is about, although it’s not as funny. It does have better pictures though, and a lot more information, and it’s longer.

In Lily Leads the Way, you follow a nice story and get to learn about different types of boats, and there’s even a surprise about the bridge. The whole way through, something kind of bugs you about the illustration, until you learn that the drawings are right and there’s a cool part about them. The book is not only about boats.

This book would be good for kids from maybe five to ten years old.
