Lili Macaroni

I love this book! In the first few pages, Lili sounds just like me! When she went to school and people were making her feel sad, that made me feel really really sad. It is not nice to make people feel so sad. I really like her dad’s idea to make a butterfly! I love that this book has instructions on how to make my own butterfly! When she went to school with the butterfly on her shoulder, I thought people would make fun of her. I am glad she got to tell people why her heart hurt. I really liked when all her friends had a butterfly on the shoulders the next day. Maybe that means everyone had a hurt heart, and they were all trying to fix them!
