Light the Sky, Firefly!

Light the Sky, Firefly! is a good book. It’s about a female firefly laying eggs and then it’s about the process of the eggs hatching. At the very end of the book, the firefly lays another batch.

Light the Sky, Firefly! is kind of boring. I keep wanting books like this to be as good as books like Firefly at Stonybrook Farm, which is part of the Smithsonian Backyard series that was published a long time ago and all of them are so interesting.

Kids who like animals and other types of nature books will probably like to read this once from the library.
