Lucy loves to dance. She is a baby fox. She keeps asking Grandma to dance. Her mom tells her “Grandmas don’t dance.” One day Grandma reads a book at Lucy’s house. Lucy asks Grandma to dance. Grandma plays ball. The ball punches Grandma in the stomach. Lucy asks Grandma to dance again. Grandma says “No,” so they play horsey. Grandma is the horse. They play dress-up next, then cards. They play “hide-and-seek,” but Grandma really goes to bed in the laundry room. (Grandma likes sleeping in the laundry room?) Lucy asks her to cuddle. Grandma dances while rocking Lucy and singing her a lullaby. Lucy thinks the whole world is dancing. Then they both zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (snoring noises, like pig sounds). Grandma says she only dances with “very special people.” The pictures need more pizzazz. I don’t have a favorite part. I like that they are foxes. In the horse picture, Grandma looks like a fox about to pounce. I can read this book myself. I think Grandmas would like this book. This book is fun to act out, better than reading it.
