LEO, Inventor Extraordinaire
LEO, Inventor Extraordinaire by Luke Xavier Cunningham tells the tale of the amazing inventor Leo, and how inventions always turn sour. One day, after one of his inventions goes wrong, he discovers the tunnel system under Yancy academy. He explores the tunnels with his friend Savy hoping to find links to his past. He realizes that there’s more to the tunnels than it appears. Between the tunnels and his past, we the readers soon realize that he is intertwined with the Wyn toy company. Throughout the book, there were captivating illustrations that helped illustrate what was going on in the story. I think ages nine through twelve would enjoy this novel, but depending on the child a little younger, or older would be adequate. I would recommend this book for many reasons. For example, how interesting and relatable the characters are, or the fascinating plot. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery, math, or an interesting adventure that will teach you stuff on the way.
