Legacy of Kings (Blood of Gods and Royals)
Legacy of Kings is wow! That was absolutely magical and compelling. From the synopsis on, I knew I was going to be in for a heck of a ride. We follow the path of six different points of view, and while you may think it’s confusing, well it wasn’t. Not at all. I became invested in each and every one of the stories. And if you’re wondering, yes, they all do connect. Kat is after one thing: revenge for her mothers death at the hands of the Queen. But what if Kat’s mother was hiding something after all these years. What then? Alexander is on his way to being the next king, but one problem, he’s crippled. So, he wants to find a way to heal his crippled leg, and possibly leave court life. The female heroines of the story are strong, and most definitely don’t need any man to take care of them. The heroes of the story were wonderful too. I think I fell in love a little bit with each and every one of the characters. They all bring something amazing to the book. and I, for one, can’t wait to see where Herman takes us next! History buffs and fantasy fans won’t want to miss out on this mind-blowing new series that’s bound to be a huge hit. I wouldn’t even be surprised if it had a movie deal; that’s how good it is! The magic, the betrayals, the love story…it was all what kept me hooked throughout. I want and need the next book because I need more epic-ness. Mark your calendars, friends because you don’t want to miss out on this one.
