Kiss Kill Vanish

Kiss Kill Vanish by Jessica Martinez was a quick and easy read. I usually don’t read too many romance novels, but because it seemed to be a good mix of romance and mystery I gave it a try. Valentina, who is in love with Emilio, flees from Miami to Canada after witnessing a murder ordered by someone close to Valentina and that she would have never expected anything like that from. Valentina’s life is turned upside down in a heartbeat. Not only does she know the person that ordered the murder she also knows the murderer. Valentina is not only left with the struggle to pay rent and make a living but also with the knowledge that you never know who you can trust and the question of if you ever really know a person. At times the book was getting a little slow to read, but overall it had a good mix of suspense and romance.
