Kingfisher Readers L2: What We Eat (Kingfisher Readers. Level 3)

We rated this book:

What We Eat is a book about all different things we eat. It tells us about the different food groups and how often we should eat foods in each group. We should eat fruits and vegetables the most. It was the group I liked learning about the most. What We Eat then talks about where our food comes from: all over the world!! It tells about how our food gets made, packed and shipped to the store. I learned there are many different places to buy foods like the grocery store or farmer’s market. I also learned there are many ways to cook foods. The last part of the book talks about foods we eat when we celebrate, like having cake on your birthday!

I liked What We Eat. It was easy for me to read and understand. The pictures were fun to look at and helped make the book more interesting. My favorite picture was the boy eating a huge piece of watermelon.
