Kingfisher Readers L2: In the Rainforest (Kingfisher Readers. Level 2)
This is a nonfiction Kingfisher Readers book, level 2. It is all about the rainforest. This book has a table of contents and a glossary. There are two pages for each topic on the table of contents. I really like all of the color photographs in this book. I learned a lot of new facts about the rainforest too!
In this book, you will learn about the weather, plants, animals, rivers, and people who live in the rainforest. You can also learn about why the rainforest is important and what we should do to save the rainforest. I learned that trees in the rainforest can be 200 ft tall! That’s really tall! I learned that the top layer is called the canopy and the bottom is the ground, but it did not tell the names of other layers.
We need to save the rainforest’s because many animals and plants live their. We also get food, and medicine from the plants and oxygen from the trees. This book is great for anyone who wants to learn about the rainforest. It was not too hard for me to read, but too long for me to read all at once.
