Katana at Super Hero High
Young superhero Katana is strong, agile, kind, skillful, and amazing with a sword. She obeys the code of the samurai and wishes to be a female samurai superhero like her grandmother. When she is mysteriously entrusted with a hundred swords and she must prepare for a huge battle, she is not so sure of herself. Can she solve the mystery of the swords, defeat the Dragon King, and finish her mountain of homework? Read the book and find out.
Another great book in the Superhero High series, Katana at Superhero High is absolutely terrific. I love reading about the superheroes’ powers and personalities. What is unique about this book is that the superheroes are just teenagers, so they don’t quite know how to control and use their powers yet, and that makes it interesting. This book also ends in a cliffhanger, which sets up the next book in the series. The book talks about crabs that are actually the spirits of fallen warriors stuck between the real word and the ghost world, but if you can suspend your level of disbelief, they aren’t scary. There are also battles, but they are more action-packed than frightening. With superhero students, superhero schools, and superhero cake, you will love this book the moment you lay eyes on it.
