National Ninja Champion is a very popular reality TV show where adults do different activities to win, and the show has been such a big hit that the television networks decided to create a Junior Ninja Champion show where kids compete. This story is about five different kids who do not know each other but are all put on the same team for the Junior Ninja Champion tryouts. The kids all have to train together at a special gym that has been transformed into a practice site for Junior Ninjas. Each of the kids are very different, but they come together and become friends. Will they be able to work together to win the championship?

The dynamic between the characters made this a very interesting read. Each character had unique situations that made the reader want to learn more. Ty was a very funny character who was always trying to win, and he would get himself into funny situations, whereas Izzy wasn’t really interested in winning because her parents made her join. Overall, the story was exciting because the characters were training to be champions.
