Julia’s House for Lost Creatures
Julia moves into a crooked house by the sea. She puts up a mailbox, but no one sends her mail. She tries to enjoy herself, but she feels like it’s too quiet and lonely all by herself. She decides to find some friends. She makes a sign that says “Julia’s House for Lost Creatures.” All of a sudden, one strange creature after another comes to visit Julia’s house. She lets all of them stay with her, even though they are weird. Trolls, mermaids, ghosts, dragons, and more decide to live at Julia’s house. Not surprisingly, they make a big mess. What do you think Julia does when her house gets overrun with lost creatures?
I thought this was a good book. I like that it was written a little bit like a comic book because comic books are my favorite. It was a little young for me. I think it would be great for kids who are between two and five years old. We gave this book as a birthday gift to our friend whose name is Julia.
