Invisible Jerry
This book had a great moral. The lesson that this book carries was very clear from the beginning. Though there are a lot of different books that talk about little kids’ feelings, this book best illustrates common feelings and right actions. I thought this book has a wonderful message of telling kids not to ignore other kids that would like to play with them but to include them and make them feel wanted and cared for.
The illustrator, Giuseppe, did a great job with the paintings. Though the paintings are great, I do have a few critiques for Guiseppe. Here is number one: I think he could have made the pictures a little more clear and realistic. Number two: the pictures don’t look good when they are all blurry with the watercolor effects.
Kids who see other kids just getting pushed around or ignored should read this book. Sometimes, kids may want to go help but are a little nervous that their kindness will be misunderstood; however, this is not true. This book sets a perfect stage for such learning. This book would be perfect for everyone, all of us can use a refresher in kindness and thoughtfulness, and we can always learn something again.
