Invasion of the Scorp-lions

Invasion of the Scorp-Lions is a hilarious book about two boys named Carlos and Benny who want to figure out what is putting people in comas. I really like the plot because it is spooky, mysterious, and humorous. My favorite part was when Taylor Spork double-dog dared Benny and Carlos to fight the monster alone. One of the interesting parts is when Carlos, Benny, and a few teachers did a séance to find the answer to the mystery. My favorite character was Esme because she helped solve the mystery. The flow of the book was really good and interesting. The illustrations were really cute, especially the one of all the kids on the front cover of the book. I like this book because it has the perfect amount of everything. People who like monsters, mysteries, and humor should read this book. Also, kids who are between ages seven and eleven should read this book. This book would make a really good series like Mutant Monsters or A Hairy New Year. So go ahead and read this book!
