In Real Life

In Real Life is a Romance/Realistic Fiction novel by Lawrence Tabak. Seth is a video gamer who is also advanced in math. Seth has a pretty average life until he meets Hannah. He and Hannah become best friends who work together at a pizza place. But, when Seth’s mom leaves to live at a university his whole life begins to change. His mom has moved in to the university when Seth receives a package from one of the top ranked video game teams. He has to choose between the love of his life and the love of his mind. When Seth can’t forget Hannah in Korea everything starts to go wrong.

I give this book three stars because it is very slow and romantic. Due to romantic content and swear words and adult language, I recommend this book to ages 15 and up. If you like romance novels you would love In Real Life. This would be a great book for people who like romance novels that are light hearted and have a lot of gaming references.
