I’m Mixed!

I liked I’m Mixed by Maggy Williams. The book is fun, and I like that the little girl has mixed colored skin. I have mixed colored skin too. My mommy is white, and my daddy is desi, so my skin is kind of tan. The pictures are really nice. I like that she has curly hair. I wish I could have hair like that, but mine is like my moms — just straight. It’s nice that we can remember to not worry about being a blend of two skin colors anymore. I have lots of friends who are mixed too. I’m really thankful I got to read this book!
