I Am a Witch’s Cat is a book about a witch and a cat. The witch puts potions into the bathroom that the cat is not allowed to touch. I liked when the cat was patiently waiting for the witch to come back home. It was funny that the cat liked the babysitter because she let the cat watch TV and eat popcorn until bedtime. My favorite character is the cat. The cat likes to help the witch get the harvest from the garden. The cat’s costume is cute.

I recommend this book for kids ages five and up. The story is easy to follow. Little kids would enjoy this book if their family read it to them. The pictures are amazing. They are a mixture of drawing and real life objects. The strawberry curtains in the kitchen are pretty. The witch’s hair is orange just like the Halloween pumpkins and carrots. The book is perfect for Halloween and the fall season. This book came to me without binding or staples so I had fun organizing the pages of the story.
