How to Tame a Triceratops
The book series Dino Riders is a collection of two books, both about a boy, Josh, who lives on a dino farm and whose job is to round up the iguanodons. I enjoyed reading about when he was working on the dinosaur farm and saved their house from destruction when an iguanodon got loose and tried to run into it. The first book, How to Tame a Triceratops, was tedious because the author took a long time to get to the action. The next book, How to Rope a Giganotosaurus, was amusing because there was a lot of drama. There was a lot of potty humor, which I found very funny. I thought that it was mean when the bully from Josh’s school, Amos, trapped Josh under a T. Rex’s rib cage during the race. The language flowed very well, and it was a very easy book. I liked the way the illustrator drew the dinosaurs and landscape scenes, but the people were very unrealistic. Other dinosaur lovers would probably enjoy reading this series even more than I did!
