How to Swallow a Pig: Step-by-Step Advice from the Animal Kingdom

This book says you can do lots of things you could never really do, like making wood into paper with your teeth, or making a web. All you have to do is a few things like the animal that does it – but you can’t really do it as easily as it seems! It is easy for the animal though. One thing is really gross, like a monkey bites a millipede to make a bug repellent they rub around on themselves. The point is really to tell you about interesting things that animals can do.

This is a pretty fun way to tell you the information, because it makes you see how amazing animals are because they can do all these things that we can’t do or would never do (because it might be really gross)! Some of the things you learn are how pythons eat, or crocodiles, or how a tailorbird sews a nest out of a leaf. I wish I could sew as well as a tailorbird! Crows can crack nuts by dropping them where a car will run over them. Crows are really smart! This book has lots of information that’s very interesting and fun to read.
