How to Make Awesome Comics
Now this book…The title says it all: how to make awesome comics. (Ooooh.) Anyone can make awesome comics. And I know that all KINDS of comics are really REALLY (unpredictable surprise incoming)…AWESOME! Now, some new friends in this book are Professor Panels and Art Monkey, who will guide you to make comics. This book does not have a plot. It is a non-fiction story. One way of making awesome comics is by using “stickmen.” “Stickmen,” or “stick people” as P. P. calls them, can be simple. This book teaches you how to make comics with all kinds of ideas, like faces, robots, monsters, pirates, heroes, villains, and more. Yet another possibility is how to make funny comics…which are awesome. For instance, it can be hilarious to have animals acting like people, such as a turtle who talks. I really like how this book starts lots of different comics and gives the reader the chance to develop them. One thing I wish is that this book was bigger so the words and pictures were easier to see because sometimes I thought they were too small to read. Kids who want to make their own comics will love this book.
