How to Find Gold

We rated this book:

Anna and Crocodile are friends. They love to play secret face, where one makes a face and the other one tries to find out what they are thinking. Anna thinks of gold all the time. She is brave and loves difficult tasks, while crocodile is scared of most things.

Crocodile suggests that gold is usually hidden, so Anna decides that drawing a map with an X will solve it. Gold may also be sunken in the ocean, so they make a drawing of a storm, where a ship hits a hidden mountain, and gold is at the bottom of the ocean. They get a boat, make the drawing, starting with a terrible storm, and they go to find gold.

In the middle of a storm, they really find gold! And now what? If they spend it, people will know they have it, and it won’t be a secret anymore. So they decide to hide it, draw a map with an X and start playing with it again.

This book was really fun. I started making maps with Xs and drawings of terrible storms after it. I love gold and I keep two golden coins in my little treasure box.
