How to Catch an Elf
The book is about an elf who delivers presents with Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Children in each house are trying to catch the elf, and they think up all kinds of traps. One child makes a trap of sticky tape, another one has a maze, and another even makes a bomb out of chocolates! But the elf and Santa somehow escape every time!
This book is a fun rhyming book, but it is kind of a weird book, too. It is not really for people as old as me; it is probably better for children who are five or six. They will like the rhymes and the funny pictures. The elf is really cute and has really funny expressions, and Santa looks really nice, too. The pictures have a lot of color, and it is fun to see the presents and all the ways the children try to catch the elf. The ending is kind of weird–I don’t know why someone would shoot a bunch of food at Santa and the elf!–but it is funny in the end. This is a funny, silly Santa story that young children will like.
